MEDICAID BRAND DESIGN BRIEF

Author: admin - Categories: LOGO DESIGN

This is one those briefs that gets you cracking away then realize that your client is not communicating their imaginations very clearly.  But finally we seemed to be coming to a conclusive concept even though along the line I felt as if I have lost the flare.

Medicaid Radiology, as the name implies is a New Radiology Centre starting up in Abuja. It boasts of state of the art radiology equipment.  The aim of the brief is to come up with logo design and general brand direction for this Centre. I started with these first concepts for the logo Design.

When a client doesn’t see the wow! factor that you see in your design, it is back to the drawing board.  Took a lot of scraping and switching here and there to come up with these:

These seem to be the winning team. Colors are basically what is remaining to select and we have the Logo that would represent Medicaid Radiology.

There are many ways to vet that a Logo is worth showing off out there.  One way is place them on usual branding objects like letterheads, business cards, Apparels, Gift items, etc.  Such is the case because your logo will go a long way in marketing your product and remaining a point of reference for identification and association.

Here is an additional concept. This one seems to be winning.  So we are going to be playing around with colours after.

Bear in mind that elements that come with famous logos should be in place for a logo to be worth what it stands for which are:

  • Logo design should be simple and should not create confusion.
  • Should follow the designing principles of color, form, consistency and clarity.
  • Should be effective in full colors as well as in black and white.
  • Should not lose its look and feel if reproduced on different objects.
  • Should be able to project company’s image, strength and integrity.
Do the above and below designs fall in line with these rules?
